LasX Europe’s Managing Director William Dinauer has his eyes set on the global market. Since launching Frankfurt-based sales and service company LasX Europe GmbH in 2017, Dinauer says he is committed to delivering innovative laser solutions and exceptional customer service to Europe.

The problem, however, according to Dinauer, is that he needs help. “Recognizing the numerous laser opportunities throughout Europe, I saw a full-time need for a Business Development Manager based in Europe. Dave Birch, with his wealth of experience in laser processing, outstanding reputation for developing innovative laser applications and equipment, and respected knowledge of European manufacturers, became the obvious and best choice for this role,” Dinauer says.

Dave Birch joins the LasX family, bringing with him a proven track record and a passion for relationship building. “I have been involved with narrow web digital printing since its infancy. My extensive background in management and implementation allows me to understand customer needs and expectations. As the new Business Development Manager for LasX Europe, I look forward to connecting with key accounts and distributers and building friendly, fruitful long-term relationships.” In addition to his strategic sales efforts, Birch will support LasX Europe’s current distributors TLM Laser in the United Kingdom and Wirth in Germany.

The decision to bring Birch on board illustrates Dinauer’s focus on expanding LasX Europe’s international reach. “We will use Dave’s strength in label manufacturing to quickly show European customers our unique capabilities to laser cut labels and other pressure-sensitive materials.”

Birch echoes a similar vision. He says, “I have been watching LasX for some time and am very impressed with their multi-market technical solutions. I have not seen LasX in the European digital print and finishing market and I will endeavor to change that.”
